We collect information you provide directly, such as your account details, profile preferences, guided journal content, check-ins, chat messages, coping tools, and subscription-related information. We also collect limited technical and usage data needed to secure the service, maintain sessions, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Therapist mode records
If you enable Therapist mode, we store your mode preference and acknowledgement records, including consent version, timestamp, and signed full name, to enforce safety controls and maintain an audit trail.
How we use information
We use your information to operate Steadora, personalize your experience, process billing, support account access, provide AI-assisted responses, generate wellness insights, and monitor product health and security.
Third-party services
We use Stripe for subscription billing and payment processing. We also use OpenAI-powered services to generate parts of the guided support experience. Those providers may process limited data needed to provide their services under their own policies and contractual terms.
How long we keep data
We retain information for as long as it is reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our terms. We may retain limited records after account closure where required for billing, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
